“What a fantastic place! Here for a long weekend with family – can’t think of a more relaxing place to be.”

With the help of some unexpected sunshine we managed to do very little, perfect! Loved the tits nesting in next doors post box, kept us well entertained! Fab lodge! Already planning our next visit!

“Our first visit to the lodge and I have to say how impressive the whole place is. Cirencester is a fab shopping place and very quaint too. We ate at The Boathouse on the first night but sadly it wasn’t that good. Menu was limited and not teenager friendly! The Lakeside Brasserie was much better, food fab. We are also used the pool spa at the Four Pillars so we’ve had a lovely weekend and look forward to returning next year.”

“This was our first time here, but it most definitely won’t be our last. The lodge is gorgeous, home from home and so beautifully decorated and maintained. Stunning area, location is perfect, especially for the keen photographer! There are beautiful villages within walking distance, South Cerney/Cerney Wick and Cirencester is just a few miles up the road and definitely worth a visit. We only wish we were here for longer! Thanks again”

“2nd time here. The first time was when the property was quite new. The fencing at the rear wasn’t even up! Still a nicely maintained house, lovely stay. Weather was superb throughout. I endorse the other comments of what people have done as we did much the same. Did the three villages walk.”

“Our third visit and again enjoyed our time in the lodge. A great place for a family get together. A wet Saturday but had a lovely afternoon at the McArthur Glen shopping outlet in Swindon. Sunny Sunday so ideal for a walk around the area. Lunch at the Four Pillars hotel where we have a lovely carvery. Wi-fi in lodge is useful but no Facebook access! Still a wonderful weekend away from it all, lovely views, fresh air and in a home from home. Sure we’ll be back.”
